This is a general English course which aims to develop the rudiments of what the learners already know. The content covers the simple grammatical structures in English along with some lexis to help the students talk about familiar topics. By the end of the course students should be able to understand basic phrases, introduce themselves and answer basic questions as well as interact with people who are talking at a slower rate.

This is a general English course in which the learners will build on the knowledge they have already acquired. Students at this level are starting to be exposed to the more complex grammatical structures but are still working with more familiar lexis. By the end of the course a student should be able to read simple textbooks, write emails on everyday subjects and understand factual information.

This is a general English course however the students expect to do some preparation for the Cambridge English: Preliminary exam. Once a month the Head of Studies will upload exam preparation activities for the class to do in order to familiarise them with the format of the exam and give them some strategies to handle the different task types. In the second semester, the students will have the opportunity to take a mock exam as well as the regular continuous skills assessment to test their progress.

In most cases, the students on this course will have recently taken the Cambridge English: Preliminary exam. The aim is to help the learners develop their communicative competence and to start building familiarity when dealing with more abstract topics in English. The learners will start to be exposed to more complex grammatical structures and less common lexis. By the end of this course they should be able to work in an English-speaking environment and live independently in an English speaking country.

This is an exam preparation course for students who are thinking of taking the Cambridge English: First exam. The content is focused mainly on exam preparation and students are expected to have a good grasp of the relevant language skills and systems and as such there is less focus on these. Moreover, in the second semester, the students will have the opportunity to take a complete mock exam as well as the regular continuous skills assessment to test their progress.

This general English course is for students who have achieved a good level of communicative competence but are now looking to become more accurate in their abilities. By the end of the course they should display a level of English that is required in a demanding professional or academic situation. As such they should be able to follow an academic course at a university or participate in meetings with confidence. The content of the course is more lexical and the majority of the grammar covered is revision and extension of topics they are already familiar with.

This course is available to students who want to prepare for the Cambridge English: Advanced exam. The aim of the course is to focus the learners on the exam format and to help them develop strategies to complete the different task types. Moreover, in the second semester, the students will have the opportunity to take a complete mock exam as well as the regular continuous skills assessment to test their progress.

At the end of this course successful students should be able to study and carry out research at the highest academic levels as well as participate successfully at a senior management level. Students on this course will normally have passed the CAE exam but not done any studying after that. At the end of the second trimester the students will have the opportunity to take a complete mock exam as well as the end of term exam to test their progress.

This primary aim of this course (see above) is to prepare the students for the Cambridge English: Proficiency exam. Students at this level are able to display near-native levels of English in a wide range of situations. They expect to have plenty of exam practice to develop their knowledge of the format as well as developing their strategies to deal with each part of the exam.
