Students in secondary school at the academy are split into two categories depending on their age. The Y-levels cover students aged between twelve and fifteen whilst the T-levels range from fifteen to eighteen. Many of the students will be expecting to prepare for a Cambridge exam at some point. In those cases, they will complete a mock exam at some point in term 2, the result of which determines whether the academy recommends them for an official exam in the summer.
